Parag Kanvinde

Parag Kanvinde is not new to our audience of KalaSanman. In this play based on Laurent Bafie’s French story, he is portraying Shirish Shahane. Let’s see what role he plays when five more patients show up at the psychiatrist at the exact same time. Founder and Director on the Board of KalaSanman, Parag Kanvinde (PK) has been a stage presence since age 7. PK received his stage training from maestros like Sulabha & Arvind Deshpande of Avishkar and Jayadev & Rohini Hattangadi; as well as Sudha Karmarkar at Little Theater. He considers himself blessed to have worked with the mights like Purushottam Darvekar, Vijay Kenkre, Vijaya Mehta and Mohan Wagh. PK kept his love for the performing arts alive in the USA by participating in the cultural programs of the Indian diaspora for many years. This flame really took the shape of an “Yadnya” when he motivated like-minded artists to found KalaSanman in the greater Cincinnati area with the first production of Tuze Ahe Tupapashi. In his professional life, PK is a physician, entrepreneur who has his private practice in Northern Kentucky.
